Beverly Cooney Poznoski as Minnie ( Actor )

Beverly Cooney Poznoski (Minnie Martinelli) is very excited to once again perform with Theatre  Du Jour, following the fun-filled Murder at Café Noir. Bev has been involved with theatre since  a child, performing with several theater companies including Murder Mysteries on Call, Ilion  Little Theatre, Rome Capitol Summer Stage, Fulton Community Theatre, Oswego Players, CNY Arts and CNY Playhouse. She also recently performed with the Onondaga Historical Association in their annual Ghost Walk. A few of her memorable performances are Fonsia Dorsey in The Gin  Game, the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz,  Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Marge Murray in The Laramie Project and her favorite, Dr. Vivian Bearing in W;t, for which she received an outstanding acting award from TANYS. Aside from her family, Bev has had two passions in life…teaching and acting. She has been fortunate enough to do both for many years.  Although retired from teaching, Bev says she will NEVER retire from the theatre! That being said, she is looking forward to her role as Thelma Cates in ‘Night, Mother with Fulton Community Theatre this October. As always, Bev would like to thank her family and friends for their unending love and support.
